My name is Adéla, and I am a second-year Bachelor’s student.
I have loved languages, teaching, and helping others for many years. That’s why I decided to study French and English at the Faculty of Education, Charles University.
In the summer of 2023, I spent a month in Nice attending an intensive French course, which deepened my love for the French language and for France even further.
I have been teaching individual lessons for three years now, mainly English, but also entrance exam preparation for secondary schools.
My biggest hobbies are, without a doubt, music and sports. I’ve been singing my whole life, and for fun, I play various instruments at home. Since Covid, there has been no better form of active relaxation for me than going for a run. I also love travelling, discovering new places, and meeting new people.
My main goal in SOR (French section) is to make life easier and more enjoyable for all the students of our department—both by improving the structure of teaching and launching a student-shared materials drive, as well as by organising faculty events and creating a welcoming space for spending time together.
